Ann Arbor resident, adjunct professor of voice at Eastern Michigan University, and operatic soprano Lindsay Kesselman is one of the newest members of the Philip Glass Ensemble and will perform in Glass' ethereal, pivotal opera Einstein on the Beach this January. Premiering in 1976, "Einstein on the Beach" is a rarely performed yet critically acclaimed, genre-bending opera written by Philip Glass and Poet Robert Wilson, with choreography by Lucinda Childs.

On Sunday, January 15th, the legendary creators of Einstein on the Beach, director Robert Wilson and composer Philip Glass, will come together for a special conversation on the history of and creative process behind their groundbreaking collaboration. Director Anne Bogart will moderate the discussion which marks the first Penny W. Stamps Speaker Series of the year.
