We've been talking about the bridge debate a lot lately and so we thought it appropriate to air the concerns of the other side, the Windsor side that is. There is a group called the Boarded-Up Houses Demolition Action Group (BUHDAG) that is suing to remove heritage bylaws that are protecting an area of boarded up houses located near the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor. The group claims that these 100 plus boarded up houses have been named a heritage site simply to stop the company that owns the bridge from building its second span. In this segment, Craig talks to Raymond Colautti, the lawyer representing BUHDAG, about this issue.
