What Sort of Republican is Gov. Snyder?

The New York Times recently published a piece about Governor Rick Snyder, portraying him as a non-ideologue enigma on the national stage for the Republican Party. But detractors say that Gov. Snyder still toes a staunch conservative line, although quietly. Gov. Snyder has vetoed Republican-sponsored voter ID laws but will also be petitioning the state Court of Appeals to block a collective bargaining ballot proposal, which follows along with the national Republican narrative. This begs the question: what kind of Republican is he? Craig discusses and takes calls from listeners.
