Actor Wendell Pierce speaks with WDET's Laura Weber Davis about acting, activism, and citizenship. Pierce is the star of HBO's "Treme" and "The Wire." He's currently stumping for President Obama, as Pierce takes his message of poverty and hunger elimination to the national stage. The actor has worked to open grocery stores in post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans.
