The Craig Fahle Show
Discussing the issues and ideas important to metropolitan Detroit, host Craig Fahle talks with the newsmakers, people making a difference in our community, and WDET listeners. |
The Treatment
Film critic Elvis Mitchell gives the "treatment" to some of the most influential and innovative forces creating movies and popular art and entertainment - discussing everything from their inner conflicts to their interior design. |

Over the past few years, the Community Foundation For Southeast Michigan has worked to fund state-of-the-art parks around southeast Michigan that are specifically tailored to children with disabilities. They funded the construction of a park in southwest Detroit, Wayne and Oxford Township and also built a universally accessible kayak launch in Wyandotte along the Detroit River. Craig speaks with Thomas Woiwode, Director of the GreenWays Initiative at the Community Foundation For Southeast Michigan, and Jennifer Skulski, Director of Special Projects at the National Center on Accessibility at the Indiana University Research Park, about the process of building and the need for universal parks.
