The Craig Fahle Show

Timebanking

Timebanking may be based on an age old barter system, but it's becoming more and more popular in urban areas today. Our guest host Desiree Cooper sits down with Kim Hodge, the Executive Director for Michigan Alliance of Timebanks to talk about how timebanking has begun to transform communities and the way they see their neighbors. We also talk to a few people running timebanks in the Detroit Metro area.

If you're interested in finding out more about timebanks and if there are any in your area, check out the MI Alliance of Timebanks website.
