Craig is joined by Nicole Bills, Student branch coordinator at Ralph J. Bunche Academy(K-8 DPS), Nakia Thomas, Student Branch Manager, of Michigan First Credit Union, and Travis Joseph, Student Teller (senior) at Lake Shore High School. At a time when economic circumstances make financial education increasingly important, this is a great example of those on the front lines of making it happen. The students are very knowledgeable, articulate and excited about the opportunity and the experience. Running their own financial institution is a great way to teach students first hand about the basics of personal finance. Michigan First Credit Union's 27 student-run credit union branches in Detroit, Redford, Southfield, St. Clair Shores and Warren.
