Science Center Gets New Life

The old Detroit Science Center has new leadership, and new life. Thanks to a number of corporate and individual donations, the museum is scheduled to reopen on the day after Christmas as the Michigan Science Center. The Detroit Science Center closed in 2011 due to a lack of money and financial mismanagement. The new museum will be debt-free when it opens. WDET's Pat Batcheller talked about the center's rebirth and future with Todd Slisher.
