Prepare to Vote: Proposal 3

Craig is joined by James Clift, Policy Director at the Michigan Environmental Council, and State Representative Thomas Stallworth(D-Detroit) to debate the pros and cons of Proposal 3, which would mandate that 25 percent of Michigan's electricity come from renewable resources by 2025. Craig also takes calls from listeners.

FACT CHECK: At the end of the debate, Rep. Stallworth says in his closing remarks that the AARP of Michigan stands against Proposal 3. AARP-Michigan is not listed on the "NO on Prop 3" website as an organizational opponent of the proposal. The Craig Fahle Show producers spoke with a representative of AARP-Michigan, who confirms the organization does not have a stance for or against the proposal.
