Craig speaks with Rick Haglund, Referee for the Michigan Truth Squad, about their take on the ads for Proposal 2, which would add collective bargaining rights to the state constitution, and Proposal 6, which would require voters to approve a new bridge or tunnel to Canada. Craig speaks with Detroit Free Press Columnist Rochelle Riley about today's Arthur L. Johnson Urban Perspectives Lecture Series event put on by the Wayne State University Alumni Association. Parenting can be difficult and challenging for any parent but when a child comes out, admitting that they are gay, it adds another set of challenges for some parents. WDET's Amy Miller speaks with Anne Dohrenwend, author of Coming Around, Parenting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Kids. Dohrenwhend is assistant program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. She is also an associate professor at MSU. Craig speaks with Bill Vlasic, Author and Detroit bureau chief for the New York Times, about his book, "Once Upon A Car: The Fall and Resurrection of America's Big Three Automakers". The book chronicles the downfall and rebirth of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. Also, James Leonard discusses his new biography, "Living the Faith: A Life of Tom Monaghan" about the Domino's Pizza and Ave Maria School of Law founder.
