The Craig Fahle Show

Podcast for Friday, December 7, 2012

Friday, December 7, 2012

It was an unusually busy Friday here at WDET. In fact, it was so busy, we pushed the show to noon on our normally shortened end-of-week schedule.

Today, Craig talked to U.S. Rep. David Curson (MI-11), a former union negotiator who's serving a truncated term in Congress. Susan Demas of Michigan Information & Research Service joined Craig to discuss the Right to Work bills moving through the state legislature, and Craig takes calls from listeners on their reactions to the sudden political turnaround. Fox 2's Alexis Wiley, Huffington Post Detroit's Ashley Woods, Jeff Wattrick of Deadline Detroit and WDET's own General Manger Mikkel Ellcessor gather to discuss the less-serious side of the news this for the Friday Follies. UAW President Bob King talks to Craig about how his union will react to Right to Work. Michigan Public Radio's Rick Pluta calls from Lansing for a first-hand account of the capitol this week. And labor attorney Cliff Hammond gives his own take on the management side of the issues at hand in the right to work legislation.
