Today on the show, Craig talks with experts and listeners about the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, and what can be done to prevent such atrocities in the future. He is joined by Gerald A. Shiener, M.D., WSU assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences in the School of Medicine who addresses the various psychological issues surrounding these tragic events; and Matthew W. Seeger, crisis and emergency risk communication expert, who has written extensively on school shootings and discusses the the long-term impact of such tragedies.
