Operation Success: Female Vets Look for Work after Duty

Operation Success is a one-day Women Veterans Networking and Resource Fair that will provide valuable information for women veterans.

Kate Logan, Chair of veteran services for Women's advisory Board of Oakland County and Marcia Gershenson: Oakland County Commissioner join Craig to discuss female veterans and jobs.

The Oakland County Women’s Advisory Board will host “Operation: Success” for woman veterans that will offer networking, resources and support 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, May 16.

Two women veterans will speak at the event. They are Air Force Veteran Heather Paquette and Army Veteran Ingrid Tighe, who will share their personal and professional experiences with guests.

While at the event, women veterans can learn about Oakland County resources, including Learn about Oakland County resources: housing, money management, health and wellness and career options.

The event will be at the Oakland Community College Auburn Hills campus, Building G —Student Center.
