A new report says that the recession and the increase in uncompensated care is severely straining Michigan’s health care safety net. Free clinics, FQHC’s (federally qualified health centers) and hospitals are challenged to meet the increased demand. Craig and his guests talk about the importance of expanding Medicare to avoid further pressure on FQHC's and an escalating rate of uncompensated care in Michigan.
