Governor Snyder: Michigan Senate Passes Medicaid Expansion

Photo courtesy of calhouncountymi.gov After failing to get the proper amount of votes earlier in the day, the bill to reform and expand Medicaid in Michigan passed last night with a 20-18 vote in the senate. The bill, in conjunction with the federal Affordable Care Act, could provide coverage for over 400,000 Michigan residents. Governor Rick Snyder talks with Craig about the vote and who benefits from the expansion.
