This year's Michigan Moveable Peace walk commences July 9 and ends in Lansing August 9.

According to the website, "the walk’s emphasis is on stopping in towns, cities, and villages along the way, highlighting the cost of military spending, listening to local residents, and then compiling their concerns and hopes."
