Ulysses S Grant Legacy in Detroit

Monday, March 5, 2012

Michigan Historical Commission Vice President Jack Dempsey joins the Craig Fahle Show. For several years, the commission has been working in partnership with the City of Detroit to restore the heritage aspects of Capitol Park in Detroit.

Grant and his family, a structure preserved by generations of Detroiters down to the present – until, that is, the State Fair was ended and the property shuttered.
