Metro Parent: Should Children Be Expected To Clean Around The House?

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Craig Fahle speaks with Metro Parent Executive Editor, Julie Elliot, along with callers about the following topics: Should children learn how to do chores? How many chores should they be responsible for? And, what are age appropriate chores? Elliot insists that children should learn to do chores around the house because they will eventually have to learn such responsibilities, later on in life. "We're learning how to take care of a household [eventually]"."Experts says they [kids] should start young, around age 4", says Elliot.
