Metro Parent: Brand Loyalty

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

A study came out recently that says that parents tend to pass down their car brand preference to their kids. So, when you grow up, if your dad bought Ford, you tend to. Craig speaks with Metro Parent editor Julia Elliott. She says her parents are Miracle Whip people and she became a mayo person after trying it as a teen. Her mother still finds it weird that she doesn't put Miracle Whip in her tuna salad. Her dad is a Ford person and freaked out when Julia bought a Honda in 1997. And yet there are some brands that Julia is stuck on because that's the way it is. Like Jiff peanut butter. It HAS to be Jiff. Craig and Julia take calls from parents about brand loyalty.
