CDC statistics on Child Death Rates. They do one every 10 years to reveal what are the biggest dangers to kids. The death rate and number of kids who died dropped. A big part of this was that traffic fatalities dropped 41 percent. However, there was an 80 percent increase in accidental poisonings, which is being attributed to kids using their parents' prescription drugs. Prescription drugs are now considered a "gateway" drug more than marijuana. Read more here.
