MEAP Scores Show Stagnation In Michigan Schools

New MEAP cohort numbers released on Friday show that Michigan EAA students are declining or stagnant in reading and math. Michigan Board of Education president, John Austin and urban affairs reporter for Bridge Magazine, Chastity Pratt Dawsey both come in to break down the numbers and what they could mean for the future of the state's education expectations.

Dawsey says Michigan students are mediocre at best on the national level.
