Local Businessman Helps Get Walmart to Donate $2 Billion Toward Hunger Relief

Joel Jacob is a local businessman who will be honored this Sunday, June 12th by the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC). Jacob will be receiving the JCRC's 2011 Activist Award for helping to get Walmart to donate $2 Billion toward hunger relief. Gleaner's Community Food Bank will be a local recipient of these funds.
