“Superman: the High-flying History of America’s Most Enduring Hero” is the latest novel by author Larry Tye. He spoke to WDET’s Rob St. Mary about the legendary pop culture character and why we embrace the heroes we do.
Tye is a non-fiction author and journalist. He is best known for his 2009 New York Times bestselling biography "Satchel: The Life and Times of an American Legend," the story of Negro Leagues pitcher Satchel Paige. He will be making appearances in Ann Arbor and West Bloomfield this weekend.
