In Joe Biden: A Life of Trial and Redemption, Jules Witcover uses his decades of journalistic experience to tell the story of a man with humble beginnings who--even after personal tragedies and career gaffes--rose to become the Vice President of the United States.

Witcover is a veteran newspaperman of 50 years, having worked at papers such as The Baltimore Sun and the The Washington Post. He's authored books on campaign finance reform and Nixon and Agnew.
