A newly outlined plan from Governor Snyder would allow students to choose school districts, make greater use of online learning and earn financial incentives of $2,500 per semester for completing high school early. Not everyone is happy about the Governors plan. John Austin directs the Great Lakes Economic Initiative, created to improve the economic vitality of the region.
