Metro-Detroiter's working to eradicate Polio in India

Craig will be joined by Rani Kotha, Executive Director at the University of Michigan Center for Global Health, Businesses Consultant, Jay K. Ganatra and Anuja Jaitly, Founder and President of Michigan Corps.

India has a population of 1.2 billion and for more than decade a tremendous global effort has been made to wipe out the disease. As of last month India has been polio free for one year. A country cannot officially claim they are Polio free unless no new cases have been documented for three consecutive years.
