Holiday Spending Survey Finds Consumers Optimistic About Economy

Deloitte LLP recently released their annual holiday spending survey which found that 46 percent of Michigan consumers expect the economy to improve in 2013, which is the most positive outlook since 2010. They also found that smartphones may help drive holiday spending this year, with 64 percent of Michigan smartphone users saying they plan to use their devices for holiday shopping. Craig speaks with Mark Davidoff, Michigan Managing Partner for Deloitte LLP, about the survey and what it says about the economy and Michigan consumers. Craig also asks listeners what their holiday spending plans are.
