Green Toe Gardens co-owners Rich Wieske and Joan Mandell join the Craig Fahle Show, promoting the preservation of bees by encouraging people to keep them. Green Toe Gardens features a beekeeping workshop. A community-based apiary founded in Detroit, they now have over 100 beehives in the city and adjacent suburbs. Green Toe Gardens encourages the preservation of honeybees through mentorship, education and collaboration.
While their class in Oakland County is currently full, they've added eight new sessions to be held at the Cass Corridor Community Center, beginning March 25th.
