Reimagining What It Means to Work in America

reImagining Work

More than 300 people from across the country are expected to gather at Focus Hope, starting October 28th, for a cross-generational conference focused on reImagining Work.

Veteran community and labor organizer, Frank Joyce will be among several dozen national and international presenters, exploring ways of creating and collaborating neighborhood based work models. Joyce has worked in factories, retail establishments and he spent 12 years as the United Auto Workers chief spokesman. Joyce and other panelists argue that Detroit is the perfect city to map a new way of working and thriving in America.

““We have been among the first to see both the collapse of an unsustainable economic system and the birth of new ways of thinking and doing the work of being human,'' says Gloria Lowe, founder of 'We Want Green Too!''
