Environment and Health Issue, Detroit's Incinerator Permit?

Great Lakes Environmental Law Center filed a petition over Detroit's incinerator permit, with the main grievances including: Inadequate standards for Clean Air Act emission compliance, unlawful use of a surrogate set of emission limits, unlawful PM2.5 and mercury emission limits, public health impacts on people in low-income and minority communities, and failure to determine whether applicable greenhouse gas emission requirements should be included in the Permit.
