Eastside People's Festival 2011

On Saturday, June 11th, from 10 am - 3 pm, a collective of Eastside residents, churches, activists, businesses and organizations will gather for the Eastside People's Festival. Numerous organizations will have a presence at this festival where one of the goals will be for people to share ideas on re-imagining Detroit neighborhoods. The festival will take place at Genesis Lutheran Church on the corner of Mack and East Grand Boulevard. It is free and open to all.

In this segment, Craig sits down with two of the festival organizers, Gloria Lowe and John Shelly, for a discussion on the festival, Detroit's Eastside neighborhood, and more.
