Detroit Federation of Teachers to Sue DPS Officials Following Massive Lay-Off

WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter speaks with President of the Detroit Federation of Teachers Keith Johnson about the recent issues surrounding the lay-off of hundreds of DPS teachers. The Detroit Federation of Teachers is now suing DPS over the methods used to eliminate more than 400 teachers in the city. According to Johnson, DPS school officials used a faulty evaluation system during the massive lay-off.
