DEGC Wants Public Input on Filling-In (literally) I-375

Several organizations focused on development of downtown Detroit are suggesting that I-375 may no longer be needed in future development of downtown. There has been talk about literally filling-in the freeway to help make that area more walkable. This month Detroit Economic Growth Corporation is asking residents to weigh in on the idea with a public meeting scheduled for February 13th.
