Same President, Different Politics: Four Years Later, A Young Immigrant Activist Evolves

Four years ago Latinos played a crucial role in Barack Obama’s election. Undocumented Latino immigrants urged their U.S. citizen friends and family to vote for Obama. College age Latino students began to pay attention to politics. Some even dropped out of school to volunteer. This year, many young Latinos are less enthusiastic about the President.

WDET’s Martina Guzman reports on Mexican immigrant Daniel Morales whose support for Obama and views on politics have dramatically changed since 2008.
