Creditors Object To Detroit Bankruptcy

Creditors, unions and individuals objected to Detroit's file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy on the grounds that the possible slashing of pension funds is unconstitutional. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes intends on hearing the claims in October and will decide on if the city can continue with its bankruptcy plans. Wayne State University professor of Law, Laura Bartell comes to the studio to shed light on the proceedings.
