Mediation hearings begin next week in Detroit's bankruptcy case, but the courtroom might distract from the case. The mediation will be held in courtroom 734 at the Theodore Levin United States Courthouse which earned the nickname, "the million dollar courtroom." Courtroom 734 features walls made of marble from around the world and benches carved out on mahogany. Walking into the million dollar courtroom is like stepping into a time machine and going back to the time when Detroit was one of the world wealthiest cities. Crain's Detroit Business reporter, Amy Haimerl, joins Craig to discuss the history of this immaculate courtroom.
