The Villages of Detroit is a non-profit group, seeking to advance Detroit's economic development in several neighborhoods. Utilizing such practical approaches as attracting businesses, community advocacy and organizing, as well as urban design and planning, the Villages group seeks to strengthen and preserve the social and economic fabric of some of the most diverse and longstanding communities in Detroit.

In our on-going conversation about why you should live in Detroit, Craig welcomes the Villages of Detroit Community Development Corporation Directors Board President Kirsten Ussery, and the organization's executive director, Brian Hurttienne. They pitch their "elevator speech" on what the city has to offer.
