Cleveland Transportation Model Could Help Shape Metro Detroit BRT Plans

Metro Detroit’s Regional Transit Authority would like to build a similar system throughout the area, and local representatives have consulted with Cleveland officials.

Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority CEO Joe Calabrese spoke with WDET’s Laura Weber-Davis. Calabrese says Cleveland’s so-called “HealthLine” brought billions of dollars of investment to a major thoroughfare similar to Woodward Avenue.
