City Year, Inc. was named one of the top non-profits in the country earning a coveted four-star rating from a national charity evaluator for the eighth year in a row, an honor the Detroit chapter of the education-focused non-profit Charity Navigator will celebrate the 10th annual Ripples of Hope benefit at the Max M. Fisher Music Center on April 26. Detroit Public Schools Emergency Financial Manager Roy Roberts will also be awarded with the Idealist in Action award.
