What’s it like to be an immigrant, an activist and a member of the LGBT community in Metro Detroit’s Middle Eastern Community? WDET’s Martina Guzman recently spoke to a young activist and organizer who is here under right of asylum for political persecution and same sex identity in Lebanon. She talks about the challenges she faces doing grassroots organizing in Metro Detroit’s Arab community.
