Across the country, charter schools are organizing. Now, Southwest Detroit teachers are joining the movement. Thursday, teachers voted to join Michigan Alliance of Charter Teachers & Staff at 88 to 49. Craig talks with Social Worker Flordemaria Garay, Reading Interventionist Sarah Clark, and K-12 Organizer and Policy Analyst Nate Walker about the challenges Chavez teachers and staff faced in organizing their union.
