For over 15 years, The Community Development Advocates of Detroit has been Detroit's "catalyst for neighborhood transformation" through community development corporations working in Detroit neighborhoods. Interim Director of the Community Development Advocates of Detroit Steve Tobocman talks to Craig about the CDAD's history with Detroit and how the organization has confronted the challenges of the economic recession.

The CDAD hosts their free Neighborhood Opportunity Breakfast event March 8, from 8 - 10 A.M. in the Second Ebenezer Church at 14601 Dequindre. Guest speakers include Steve Tobocman, Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh, and Robert Anderson, Detroit City Planning and Development Director.
