Birmingham, AL Bankruptcy: Template for Detroit?

The conversation continues about Detroit's financial future with Reporter for The Birmingham Business Journal, Evan Belanger. Jefferson County, Alabama, home of Birmingham, the state's largest city, filed for bankruptcy in November with roughly $4 billion worth of debt. Craig and Evan discuss the implications of bankruptcy for the municipality and what it might look like if Detroit runs out of cash.
