Ohio plans on opening four new casinos that are expected to greatly reduce the revenue of Detroit's casinos. According to McKinsey and Co., Detroit stands to lose $30 million in revenue at the hands of Ohio casinos. The casinos contributed $177 million to Detroit's $1.2 billion general fund.
