Today in Lansing the state House Judiciary Committee will discuss a bill that would reform Michigan’s Indigent Defense System. The long-awaited changes to the state-provided legal defense system are the result of the recommendations of an advisory committee and a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union. Craig speaks with Michael Steinberg, Legal Director for the ACLU of Michigan about the Indigent Defense System and the ACLU's lawsuit.
