Shelli Weisberg, Legislative Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan joins Craig to discuss the proposals approved by the Michigan House that would increase both insurance requirements and regulations for doctors performing abortions.
The bills bring together several other bills that have already been sponsored in the Legislature.
The main bill was approved by the committee in a 13-5 vote. The legislation will move to the House floor, and if approved, would advance to the Senate.
