Bruce Katz Talks About a Movement Happening in Metrpolitan Centers in the U.S

Tuesday July 16, 2013

Video: MetroRevolution.org Bruce Katz, founding director of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy program, talks about a movement that has begun to fix broken city politics and a fragile economy in the United States. In Detroit, innovation districts and a network of leaders gave midtown a second wind, and hatched ideas to power the economy for the next century. Katzs' book, The Metropolitan Revolution, has captured the idea that cities and their leaders need to take on the issues that Washington can't or won't solve.

Bruce Katz is currently on tour promoting his book The Metropolitan Revolution. Katz speaks at the Detroit Economic Club along with Midtown Detroit Inc. president Sue Mosey and Detroit Economic Growth Corporation president & CEO George Jackson at noon on Tuesday July 16, 2013.
