There are roughly ten thousand resettled Iraqi refugees living in metro Detroit but what is not widely known is that a significant percentage of Iraqi refugees are victims of torture. WDET's Martina Guzman speaks with Craig Fahle about her interview with Haitham Safo, a former victim of torture an now a mental health therapist at The Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture at the Arab Community Center for Economic & Social Services.
