As Ovarian Cancer Month Draws Down, Awareness Rises

Sept. 27, 2012

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer, which makes it the most lethal gynecologic cancer. Marcie Paul is Vice President of the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance. She told WDET’s Laura Weber-Davis that the symptoms for ovarian cancer can be quiet and hard to trace back to a serious problem.
