Photo: mivote.org Detroit voters will choose from 56 Detroit mayoral, city council, clerk and police commission candidates at the August 6th primary elections. MiVote interviewed each of the candidates and features the video on their website. Journalist and longtime politics buff Tim Kiska offers the highlights.

Journalist Tim Kiska is an associate professor at University of Michigan-Dearborn and producer of MiVote.org. He's a longtime fixture of Detroit's news circuit, having joined the Detroit Free Press in 1970 and later covering broadcast and television for the Detroit News.
